The national scientific conference titled “Business and Marketing Management towards Sustainable Development”, co-organized by Thuongmai University and National Economics University, opened on 28th December 2020 in H3 Hall.

The conference received numerous honorable participants. From Thuongmai University, the conference welcomed A/Prof.Dr. Bùi Hữu Đức – Vice General Secretary of the University’s Party Unit, Chairman of the University’s Council; A/Prof.Dr. – Vice Rector of the University; A/Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Former Vice Rector of the University; Head (Deputy Head) of faculties, sections and departments; all lecturers and representatives of students from Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Marketing; researchers, PhD learners, master learners among others.

In her opening and keynote speech, A/Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Thị Bích Loan – Thuongmai University’s Vice Rector – affirmed: “Countries all over the world are accelerating their economic growth. The world is experiencing rapid changes thanks to innovations and achievements in science and technology. The governments have launched orientations for national economic development to ensure that prosperous growth goes along side with sustainable environment. Social integration has been the core of developed and developing countries. In recent years, Vietnam has achieved stable economic growth but the national economy has also faced numerous environmental and social challenges in its development process. Well aware of this, Thuongmai University and National Economics University are co-hosting this national scientific conference titled Business and Marketing Management towards Sustainable Development.”

Under the chair of A/Prof.Dr. Vũ Huy Thông – Dean of Marketing Faculty, National Economics University, A/Prof.Dr. Phan Thị Thu Hoài - Dean of Marketing Faculty, Thuongmai University and Dr. Trần Thị Hoàng Hà – Dean of Business Administration, Thuongmai University, the conference heard 05 presentations in 2 sections and ideas raised by scientists and policy makers. The presentations showed great diversity in research subjects, methodologies, approaches and novelty, which reflected the enthusiasm, passion and knowledge of presenters. Specifically:

The conference was of great success with theoretical and practical significance. This was a scientific forum for economic administrators, policy makers, entrepreneurs, researchers and lecturers to discuss and exchange opinions and experiences on business management and marketing towards sustainable development of Vietnam’s economy and trade.
