The international study abroad partnership programs at TMU (CERI-TMU) with LTU offer students a variety of different choices.

Learning articulation pathways

  • 2 + 1 articulation pathway program: 2 years (16 courses/4 semesters) at TMU and 1 year (8 courses/2 semesters) at LTU.
  • 1.5 + 1.5 articulation pathway program: 1.5 years (12 courses/3 semesters) at TMU and 1.5 years (12 courses/3 semesters) at LTU.
  • 1 + 2 articulation pathway program: 1 year (8 courses/2 semesters) at TMU and 2 years (16 courses/4 semesters) at LTU.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:

Students must complete a total of 360 credits. Some courses are core courses while others are elective courses.

Students must complete 240 credits over 4 semesters (2 years) at TMU and 120 credits at LTU.

The international study abroad partnership program CERI-TMU

2+1/1.5+1.5/1+2 models with LTU

Students will study for a maximum of 2 years (equivalent to 4 semesters) at Thuongmai University. Afterward, they will transfer to Australia to complete the remaining duration of the program and receive a Bachelor of Business degree from LTU.

* If the IELTS score is below 6.0, students need to complete a Foundation Year to fulfill the program's entry requirement of an IELTS 6.0

 

Admission Requirements Entry

Requirements at TMU:

  1. Graduation from high school with an average GPA of 7.0 or higher in the final year of grade 11 and the first semester of grade 12.
  2. IELTS score >= 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.5.
  3. For the Foundation Program (up to 1 year), students need a minimum IELTS score of 5.5, with no skill below 5.5.

Transfer Requirements to LTU:

  • Minimum GPA of 5/10 for courses at TMU.
  • IELTS score of 6.0 (no sub-score below 6.0).

Tuition Fees:

Phase 1 - Study at TMU:

  1. Foundation Program Students: 22,000,000 VND per semester (English preparatory studies).
  2. Major Students: 88,000,000 VND per academic year (after receiving 20% financial aid from the partner university).

Phase 2 - Study at LTU:

  • The tuition fee at LTU for reference in 2024 is 36,800 AUD per year.

During their participation in the program, students have the option to apply for a 20% tuition fee reduction or be eligible for the CERI-TMU Talent Scholarship, which provides discounts on tuition fees ranging from 30% to 100% while studying in Vietnam.
