General introduction about Thuongmai University
Thuongmai University (English name: Thuongmai University, international transaction name abbreviated as TMU) is a public university under the national education system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Thuongmai University aims to train high-quality human resources with advanced qualifications, entrepreneurial and innovative capabilities, and competitiveness in both domestic and international labor markets; conduct scientific research, provide policy consulting, and transfer knowledge in modern economics and commerce, contributing to the country’s prosperous development.
With a long history of establishment and development since 1960, the university has built a large and qualified faculty team (02 professors, 41 associate professors, 269 doctors, and 440 masters), including 06 People’s Teachers and 14 Distinguished Teachers. It offers diverse training programs, including 45 regular undergraduate programs and 08 postgraduate and international doctoral programs.
Thuongmai University has become an advanced university in Vietnam, meeting level-1 accreditation standards and receiving a nearly 5-star certification under the UPM university ranking system.
