Ceremony to Announce Decisions to Appoint Heads of Departments and Faculties in Thuongmai University

On the morning of 26 April 2021, in Hall H1, Thuongmai University held a ceremony to announce the decisions to appoint head of departments and faculties at the University.

Attending the ceremony there were A.Prof.Dr. Bui Huu Duc – Vice Secretary in charge of University’s Party Committee, Head of University Council, A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang - Vice Secretary of University’s Party Committee, Rector of the University, A.Prof.Dr. Do Minh Thanh – Member of University’s Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University, A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan - Vice Rector of the University, A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Viet – Standing Member of the University’s Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University; A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Minh – Head of the University’s Labor Union and members of the union; Dr. Phan Thu Trang – Head of the University’s Youth Union and members of the union; representatives of teachers and administrators from different faculties and departments in the university.

At the ceremony, as authorized by A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang – the University’s rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Tinh – Deputy Head of Personnel Department – announced decisions to reappoint, appoint and extend the time in charge of head of university’s departments and faculties. Specifically:

The University decides to appoint A.Prof.Dr. Pham Duc Hieu – head of Accounting Division as Dean of Accounting – Auditing Faculty; Dr Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong – head of Translation and Interpreting Division as Dead of English Faculty; relocate A.Prof.Dr. Mai Thanh Lan – head of Enterprise Human Resource Management Division to Personnel Department as Head of the Personnel Department; relocate Dr Tran Thi Bich Hang – head of Tourism Enterprise Management Division to Scientific Management Department as Head of Scientific Management Department.

The university decides to extend the time in charge of MA Pham Van Thuong as Director of Ha Nam Unit to May 2022.

On behalf of the university’s leaders, A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang – University’s Rector – conveyed the best regards to the appointed members, hoping that they will make strong efforts to contribute to the development of the University, maintain solidarity in the departments and faculties to accomplish all the assigned tasks to further develop the University in the coming time.

The Rector also expressed his gratitude to former leaders of departments and faculties for their contributions to the University during the last working term. The Rector expressed his wish that they will continue to try and contribute to the University in the coming time.

On behalf of the newly-appointed members, A.Prof.Dr. Mai Thanh Lan – Head of Personnel Department – expressed her sincere thanks to the University’s leaders for their trusts and affirmed that the newly-appointed members will continue to make greater efforts to accomplish their tasks to contribute to the University’s sustainable development in the future.
