Thuongmai University receives and works with IMC Krems University, Republic of Austria

On November 18th 2019, Thuongmai University received and worked with University of Applied Sciences IMC Krems, the Republic of Austria.
Attending the working session, on behalf of University of Applied Sciences IMC Krems there were Dr. Heiz Boyer – the founder of IMC, Krems; Dr. Karl Ensfellner – CEO; Dr. Christian Kummel – International Program Manager. On behalf of Thuongmai University there were A/Prof. Dr Nguyễn Thị Bích Loan – Vice rector, A/Prof. Dr Nguyễn Viết Thái – Head of External Affairs and Communication, A/Prof. Dr Tran Kieu Trang – Deputy Head of International Training Department and Mr. Đào Thế Sơn (M.A) – Deputy Head of External Affairs and Communication.

In October 2018, in the presence of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in Austria, Thuongmai University and University of Appllied Sciences IMC Krems officially signed an agreement to implement the bachelor program of Business Administration. After a period of doing the procedures to apply for permission of the government in Austria, the IMC Krems received a license to open program in Vietnam in August 2019. The program also received the help of Eramus fund for one or two excellent students participating in cooperation training program of Thuongmai University. These students will have the opportunity to receive scholarship of 100% tuition and living expenses when studying one semester at IMC. The two schools agreed to implement the first course in September 2020.

In addition, the two sides also exchanged the possibility of cooperation in scientific research, co-organizing international conferences, preparing documents to bid on research and training projects, etc.
