Thuongmai University signs Memorandum of Cooperation in Logistics Training at Vietnam Logistics Forum (VLF) 2017
VLF 2017 was solemnly organized in Hanoi on December 15th 2017 morning with the attendance of:
- Leaders of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Transportation and Transport, Ministry of Finance, People’s Committees of provinces and cities
- Leaders of international organizations in Vietnam.
- Representatives of logistics associations and enterprises and related trading and producing enterprises.
- Scientists from universities and institutes of logistics.
VLF 2017’s agenda consist the following contents:
- Generaling and assessing the implementation of Decision No. 200/QĐ-TTg on February 14th 2017 by Vietnam’s Prime Minister approving the Action plan of competitiveness improvement and Vietnam’s logistics development to 2015.
- Releasing “Vietnam logistics report 2017” and officially launching the website www.logistics.gov.vn
- Signing cooperation documents between several associations, enterprises, and research and training organizations of logistics.
- Discussion between government authorities and logistics enterprises on logistics development policies in Vietnam at present.

At VLF 2017, A/Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long – Vice rector of Thuongmai University participated in signing the “Memorandum of Cooperation in logistics training” with 15 universities and institutes of logistics in Vietnam including University of Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, University of Transport Technology, Hanoi University of Industry, Electricity Power University, Ho Chi Minh University of Transport Technology, University of Economics and Business – Vietnam’s National University, Hanoi University, Vietnam Maritime University, Foreign TradeUniversity, Ho Chi Minh CityUniversity of Technology and Education, School of Logistics, Vietnam Airlines, Vietnam Institute of Logistics Research and Development, and Institute of logistics management and supply chain. The memorandum of cooperation in logistics was signed between the parties in order to set up a network of training, research, and technology transference serving the development of Vietnam logistics.
