Workshop “Program Outcome Standards and Training Programs of Post Graduate and Doctorate”
On December 23, 2020, Thuongmai University held a workshop themed “Program Outcome Standards and Training Programs of Post Graduate and Doctorate” at Conference Hall, 6th Floor, Building F.
Attending the workshop, there were A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang – Vice Party Secretary, Vice President; A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan – Vice President and representatives of Major Groups of post graduate and doctorate training; Deans of faculties, heads of Departments and centers; former post graduates, officers of Faculty of Post Graduates.
The workshop welcomed many researchers, experts, managers and lecturers of universities, organizations, and corporations, particularly 30 representatives of Central agencies, organizations and businesses (Ministry of Industry and Trade; Department of Banking, Ministry of Finance; Viet Nam National Real Estate Association; FPT Telecom; MB Bank, Techcombank, etc.) and over 20 representatives of universities (National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, Viet Nam National University, Hanoi, Hanoi University of Industry, University of Labor and Social Affairs, etc.)
At the workshop, Faculty Deans briefly presented 06 draft reports on the outcome standards and training programs of post graduate and doctorate of different majors, including Economic Management, Business Administration, Trade Business, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Finance – Banking. The draft outcome standards were presented in two sessions of the workshop.
During the 3.5-hour workshop and discussion, the University received many opinions from researchers, experts, business leaders, lecturers, and former post graduates to complete the outcome standards and training programs of post graduates. University then can improve and perfect the outcome standard framework and post graduate training programs in line with social demands and its current conditions.
Thanks to the workshop, the University had more insights into the opportunities and challenges and requirements on knowledge and skills in training and training management for post graduates of Thuongmai University in the coming time. In the context of intensive international integration and the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is essential to improve training programs in order to develop highly-qualified human resources with excellent qualities and creativity to meet the demand of the labor market.
